I was born and raised in West Virginia and moved to the Pacific Northwest at the age 12 and lived my teenage years in eastern Washington with my oldest brother, Roy.
Roy taught me my first songs on the guitar like 'Wildwood Flower and Guitar Boogie'. I moved to Nashville in 1996 to pursue my songwriting.
